8. Install the 10 screws that hold the crankshaft
together.
9. Install the ignition module. Refer to
install the ignition module on page 30 .
10. Install the flywheel. Refer to
the flywheel on page 33 .
11. Install the flywheel housing and the engine cover.
12. Install the engine on the product.
6.10.7 To examine the cylinder pressure
1. Remove the spark plug cap and the spark plug.
2. Install a pressure tester in the spark plug hole.
3. Pull the starter rope 4 times and measure the
cylinder pressure. For correct pressure, refer to
Technical data on page 41 .
6.10.8 To disassemble the cylinder valves
1. Disassemble the crankcase. Refer to
disassemble the crankcase on page 33 .
2. Remove the piston and the piston connecting rod.

3. Remove the 4 screws on the cylinder head cover.
4. Remove the cylinder head cover and the gasket.
5. Remove the locknuts.
6. Remove the adjustment nuts.
7. Remove the rocker arms, valve adjustment bolts and
the rod plate.
8. Remove the valve spring retainers
a) Push down the valve spring retainers.
b) Move the valve spring retainers until the valve
stem fits through the hole.
9. Remove the valve springs.
10. Remove the valve lifter (A) and the push rods (B).
