6.9 Flywheel
6.9.1 To remove and install the flywheel
1. Remove the spark plug cap from the spark plug.
2. Remove the engine cover.
3. Remove the 3 nuts that hold the flywheel housing.
4. Remove the flywheel housing.
5. Remove the flywheel nut.
6. Remove the flywheel with the flywheel puller kit.
7. Examine the flywheel for damages and replace the
flywheel if it is necessary.
8. Install in the opposite sequence.
9. Make sure that the air gap between the flywheel and

6.10 Crankcase
6.10.1 To drain the crankcase from oil
1. Start the engine and let it run for approximately 1
minute. This is to increase the temperature of the oil
and make it drain faster.
2. Remove the oil filler cap.
3. Put the product on its side above a container with
the oil filler tube pointed down.

4. Make sure all oil is drained before you move the
product.
6.10.2 To fill the crankcase with oil
1. Put the product on a flat surface.
2. Remove the oil filler cap.
3. Fill the crankcase with oil. The oil level must be in
between the marks on the dipstick. Use the correct

7. Remove the top crankcase half from the bottom
crankcase half.
8. Use a puller to disconnect the crankcase halves.
9. Remove the 2 connecting rod bolts.
