Service Information
ALC level for LO (Procedure S)
1. Prepare the PNA and Power Sensor as described on
page
84.
2. Connect PNA Port 2 to LO IN on the rear panel of the test set.
3. Connect the power sensor to Port 1 LO OUT.
4. Identify the "LO Mod/Amp," R7 and R3, see
Figure 2-10
and
Figure
2-20.
5. Adjust R7: turn full CW (may require up to 30 turns) then 5 turns CCW.
6. Adjust R3: adjust for a reading on the power meter of 12 dB (± 0.1 dBm).

of the Interface Board, SMB connectors and IF cable routing information.
The SMB connectors on the cables that connect to the Interface Board
(N5261-60101) sometimes become loose after multiple connections. A loose
connector may allow crosstalk between IF signals and may cause higher than
expected noise floors. After installing an Interface Board, check for loose
connectors on all thirteen SMB connectors (J303, J250, J302, J200, J301,
J150, J300, J100, J251, J201, J151, J101, J304).
If there is a loose connection, replace the cable. The N5262A front panel cables
part number are 8121-0150, rear panel cables are part number 8120-8483.
