Marking of armatures

Laboratory armatures must be colour-coded in accordance with DIN EN 13792. The standard does not apply
to medical institutions or hospitals which use medical gases from a medical gas supply system according to
EN737.
Zone 1
Zone 2
Zone 3
The 3 zones are colour-coded. Zone 2 includes the short designation / long text for the flow substance and is a
Wesemann standard.

Colour-coding Zone 1 and abbreviations

Water

The colour green of Zone 1 indicates that it refers to the flow substance water. Which water it is can be can be
recognized by the colours in Zones 2 and 3.
