After approximately 8 minutes the FORCE 21264 Alpha PCI/ISA SBC will then
execute a soft reset. At this point the SRM console has been loaded into main

a UNIX or OpenVMS boot or installation the SRM console is required. Type from
the SRM console prompt:
update -srm

set the switch on the I/O board switch pack (E26) to load from FlashROM, per Table
3-24 in Section 3.
