Disregard of the safety regulations
Before they are delivered, Siemens products are tested to ensure they function
correctly when used properly. Siemens disclaims all liability for damage or
injuries caused by the incorrect application of the instructions or the disregard
of danger warnings contained in the documentation. This applies in particular
to the following damage:
● Personal injuries or damage to property caused by improper use and
incorrect application
● Personal injuries or damage to property caused by disregarding safety
instructions in the documentation or on the product
● Personal injury or damage to property caused by poor maintenance or lack
of maintenance
According to EN 50110-1, the system owner must also ensure that the
commissioning personnel and the operating personnel – see 'Target groups
[➙ 6]' – have the necessary knowledge relating to the position of operating
terminals and call stations of a Cerberus PACE system.

● As the system owner, you must ensure that the members of the operating
personnel are aware of the position of all operating terminals and call
stations of the Cerberus PACE system.

● Read and follow the instructions and recommendations provided in the
chapters referred to below.
Failure to follow the instructions and recommendations found in the chapters
'System acceptance on site [➙ 52]', and 'Commissioning and maintenance
[➙ 53]' may result in the system not being able to help protect the lives and
wellbeing of people at all or to its full potential, especially in the event that an
evacuation is required.
