3. USING AND ADJUSTING THE TWIN LASER GUIDE SYSTEM

The twin laser guide system is controlled by a switch (A) Fig.14 and only operates if the power cord is connected to a power
socket.
WARNING ! Never look into laser beams directly or
at a reflection of the beam. Switch the laser off when
not in use.
1. Draw the cutting line on the workpiece.
2. Adjust the mitre and bevel angles as required.
3. Before clamping the workpiece with the vices against the
guide fence, switch on the twin laser and align the cutting
line with one of the beams, either to the left or right of the
blade.
4. Start the motor.
5. Once the blade has reached its maximum speed, lower
the saw head to start cutting.
To adjust the twin laser guide system if it does not seem
aligned with the two sides of the blade, proceed as follows:
1. Remove the plastic cover of the laser.
2. Loosen the two Philips head screws (A) Fig.15 near the
lasers.
3. Clamp your workpiece to the saw table, start the saw and
make a partial cut to show the two sides of the cut.
4. Turn each laser (B) until each beam of the twin laser guide
is perfectly aligned with the two sides of the cut.
5. Once the adjustments have been made, hold the lasers in
place and tighten the Philips head screws (A) once more.
6. Put the plastic cover back on the twin laser.
