HANDLING AND STORAGE

5.1 TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
On delivery, check that the electric pump has not been subject to damage during transport; in this case notify the retailer immediately.
Check procedure phases:
• check the exterior of the packaging;
• remove all product packaging material;
Use the original packaging to return the product to the retailer in the event of defects; otherwise dispose of all packaging materials
according to current local standards.
DANGER
Handle the product in observance of current accident prevention standards.
During storage, protect the product from humidity, dust, heat sources, mechanical damage and external contaminants in order to
conserve the quality of the water subsequently placed in contact with the pump.
5.2 HANDLING
Packed unit
Lift and handle these pumps carefully.
The unit and its components may be heavy: risk of crushing
Always wear personal protective equipment.
Handle the unit in compliance with current regulations to avoid undesirable ergonomic condition causing risks of back-spine injury.
Take appropriate measures during transport, installation and storage to prevent contamination from external substances.
Depending on the model, the Manufacturer delivers the unit and its components in a cardboard box or a wooden crate. The wooden
crate is intended for transport with a forklift.
Unpacked unit
Use cranes, ropes, lifting straps, hooks and clasps that comply with current regulations and that are suitable for the specific use.
Make sure that harnessing does not hit and/or damage the unit.
Lift and handle the unit slowly to avoid stability issues.
During handling, make sure to avoid injury to people and animals, and/or damage to property.
Do not use eyebolts screwed on the motor for handling the unit.
