After   r ehydrating   f ood,   c ook   i t   a s   y ou   w ould   n ormally.   I f   f oods   a re   c ooked   b efore   t hey   a re  
fully   r ehydrated,   t hey   w ill   c ook   i n   a   s hriveled   s tate   a nd   w ill   n ot   b e   p lump.   M ost   f ruits   a nd  
vegetables   w ill   r ehydrate   t o   a bout   8 0%   o f   t heir   f resh   s tate.   C onsequently,   t hey   a re   a   l ittle  
chewier   t han   a   f resh   o r   f rozen   f ruit   o r   v egetable,   e ven   w hen   r ehydrated.  
Dried   f ood   u sed   i n   c ooking   w ill   a bsorb   a dditional   l iquid,   s o   a djust   t he   r ecipe   a ccordingly   b y  
adding   m ore   w ater.
