PAPER FEED
Paper Size Detection
The by-pass feed paper width sensor [A] monitors the paper width. The side fence is
connected to the terminal plate gear. When the side fences move to match the
paper width, the circular terminal plate rotates over the wiring patterns on the
rectangular part of the width sensor. The patterns for each paper width on the
paper width detection sensor are unique.
