Page 8: To Keep The Scale Working Efficiently
TO KEEP THE SCALE WORKING EFFICIENTLY 1. This waterproof digital scale is graded as IP68. IP68 is the grade of protection against complete, continuous submersion in water. The scale is designed not to admit water even after it has been left at a depth of one meter for 24 hours. -

INSTALLATION How to set batteries Note: Carefully avoid excessive force on the scale when it is turned over. A drop and/or excessive force may damage the scale. 1. Turn over the scale. 2. CALIBRATION When you use the UDS-1V-WP for the first time, it is necessary to calibrate the scale at your area before use. If you skip the calibration, the scale may not indicate the weight with accuracy. Therefore be sure to calibrate the scale at your area before using scale. -

TARE OPERATION Tare operation is used when you want to display the net weight that is deducted a container weight from the total weight. (Tare means a container.) Operation Display 1 Place an empty container on the pan. The weight of the container (e.g. 25 g) is shown on the display. -

USER PARAMETER The UDS-1V-WP has 3 functions that can be used in accordance with the application. Set the user parameter before using the scale based on the following parameter list.
