Hall transmitter plug
disconnected on distributor on ground
briefly,
using a piece of wire.
Voltage should rise as for turning on ignition
and
then drop again to
0 volt.

7. Measure voltage
between
both outside wires

on plug with ignition turned
on.
Voltage
should
be at least 10
volts.
Replace Hall control unit when measured values
deviate from specifications.
