REMOVING AND INSTALLING FUEL FILTER ( NEAR TANK )
Removing
1 . Clamp suction line with standard hose
clamp .
2. Loosen hose clamps and cut strap .
Installing
Use new strap .
REMOVING AND INSTALLING FUEL FILTER ( EN G INE COMPARTMENT )
Removing
1 . Clean filter connections .
2 . Loosen strap.
3 . Detach fuel lines; counterholding
is
essential .
Catch escaping fuel .
Installing
1 . Make sure lo install with arrow on filter
pointing in direction of flow (toward mix -
ture control unit) .
Printed in Germany
2 . To prevent damaging filter, don't tighten
strap too tight .
