8. MN DIP-Switch

DIP SWITCH ON MN BOARD

Gran Touch and silent pianos include a 4-bit DIP-switch on the MN board. During normal use the switch bits
(SW1 to SW4) are generally all set to OFF, but during servicing or maintenance you can use them to execute
function checks as described below. Please turn power OFF before changing the DIP-switch settings, and then
turn power back ON to activate the new settings.

affected by the sensors.)
Forces the piano into Sensor Test mode.
Use this feature if for some reason you are unable start up Test mode
using the keyboard.
Increases the sustain pedal's adjustment range. Use this feature if you
are unable to adjust the sustain pedal successfully using the VR1
adjuster. If you need to use this feature, please be sure to the leave
SW4 set to ON after completing the adjustment (don't turn it back off
after completing maintenance work).
Starts demo playback.
Allows you to check the state of the tone-generator. (Operation is not
affected by the sensors.)
