Fig 1-3 shows the back panel indicators of the ADSL Modem.

Telephone jack (RJ-11) to connect to your Telephone Wall
Socket (ADSL line).
10/100 Base-T Auto-MDI/MDIX (allows either cross or straight
cable) Ethernet jack (RJ-45) to connect to your Ethernet
Network card or Ethernet Hub/Switch.
To reset the ADSL Modem, simply press the reset button for
about 10 seconds (all customised settings that you have
saved will be lost!).
To connect to the Power Adapter that comes with your
package.
To power ON and power OFF the ADSL modem.
