III. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Remove all the packing material and take out the electric kettle with the stand. Remove all possible
adhesion foils, stick-on labels or paper from the appliance. Before the first use, fill the electric kettle
with clean water to the maximum level, turn it on and let the water boil. Then pour out the water and
repeat the procedure several times (at least five times).
APPLICATIONS
Plug the fork of the power cord to the electric socket. Hold the kettle A on the handle A5. Open
the lid A6. Fill the kettle with drinking water. The minimum and maximum amount of water is
marked on the water gauge A4. Close the lid. Place filled kettle on the base. An acoustic signal
sounds, the A3 display lights up (the current water temperature in the kettle is displayed), and
the A2 indicator light turns green. Now the kettle is in a standby mode. Use the rotary control
A1 to set the desired temperature between 40-100 ° C (10 ° C increments). Press the A1 button
to confirm the temperature. The A2 indicator light will turn red to indicate that heating is in
progress. When the heating is finished, an acoustic signal sounds, the temperature is displayed
and the A2 signal light is green.
Please consider the following tips as examples and inspiration not intended to provide complete
instructions, but just to show the possibilities of heating of various liquids. Water temperatures
are only approximate and may vary according to personal taste, quantity, type, quality and age
of the used tea, coffee, etc.
• 40 °C = infant formula milk,
• 50 °C = baby foods
• 60 °C = hot beverages,
• 70 °C = green teas,
• 80 °C = white teas,
• 90 °C = oolong teas, coffee, instant drinks, soups,
• 100 °C = black, herbal teas.
Note
If you are going to heat up water to a low temperature (40 or 50 °C), it is necessary to have at
least 0.7 litre of water in the kettle to reach the preset temperature more accurately. In the case
of a lower volume, the actual temperature may exceed the preset temperature.
Always use fresh drinking water for boiling. The temperature and time heating depends on
the amount of water and the initial temperature of water. For the correct temperature setting,
follow the manufacturers' instructions that are described on food packages (e.g. tea, coffee,
instant drinks, soaps, etc.).
Temperature maintenance function
To heat and maintain the water at a given temperature, set the desired temperature using the
rotary controller A1. Then press and hold the button A1 (for approx. 2 seconds). The " " symbol
appears on the A3 display and the A2 indicator light flashes red. The kettle first heats the water
to the desired temperature (an acoustic signal sounds) and then it maintains the temperature
for approx. 120 minutes. The A2 indicator will flash red at all times. After this time, the kettle
switches off automatically.
Notes
– Any press of the button or turning of the controller A1 is accompanied by an acoustic signal.
– The kettle can be stopped at any time by pressing the A1 button.
– After about 4 minutes of inactivity, the kettle will switch to power saving mode. The display
and the A2 signal light go out. To return to standby mode, just press the button or turn the A1
controller.
– If the water temperature in the kettle is higher than the one you set, an acoustic signal sounds
and the A3 display flashes several times (the kettle does not start heating).
