III. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Check if the dual voltage switch A12 has been set to the local mains voltage before
you connect the appliance. Lift off the handle A3 to the operating position so that its
arrest is ensured. At first switch the iron ON to maximum temperature and let the iron at
least 10 minutes running without water.
Ironing without steaming
Plug the power cord A9 to electric socket. Put the iron to the rest position. Turn the steaming

Intensive steaming (steam shock)
Use only if the steam ironing is insufficient. In this case press intensive steaming button A4
several times (Fig. 6A). Thus you will get additional steam except for the steam created by
standard steaming. An intense „burst" of steam penetrates deep into the fabric. For optimum
steam quality, leave an interval of at least four seconds between pressing the Surge of
Steam button.
WARNING
– When you press intensive steaming button A4 several times, water may drip from the
ironing plate due to excess water in the steam chamber. Do not consider this as faulty
operation.
– The shot-steam function can only be used at high temperatures.
