operated near flammable items. Observe sufficient safety distances
when using decorations for photographic use. Furthermore, it is
necessary to ensure sufficient air supply and unobstructed lamp core
vents. Light formers, especially reflectors, heat up a significantly after
use. Use heat protection to prevent burns when handling equipment, or
wait for the equipment to cool off.
Continuous light lamps must not be used without supervision. Please
note the applicable information on the back of the equipment!
Mounting
Continuous light equipment suspended from ceilings, traverses, or
pantographs must be double secured. This is done using a safety screw
(not included) which is screwed into the designated thread on the Hensel
tilt bracket. However, due to applicable safety regulations, a second steel
rope must be used to properly secure the equipment. This item with the
code no. 7690 can be ordered from Hensel-Visit. Thread the steel rope
through the handle 4 and secure it to the suspension.
Acclimatization
When switching the continuous light lamp between locations with marked
temperature differences, the equipment should stand for some time
inside the room where it is going to be used next. This helps to prevent
possible creepage caused by moisture condensation.
Operating Position
C-Light D continuous light sources are routinely delivered with a metal
vapor lamp Sylvania BA 150 SE T 150 W/230 V, G12.
The C-Light D can be used without restrictions in any operating position.
Tilt Bracket
The equipment comes with tilt bracket 9. The tilt bracket can be mounted
via one of the two openings 10 which are offset by 90 °, onto a stand,
pantograph or similar support. Now, the flash head can be horizontally
turned 360°. Tighten the knurled screw 11 to adjust the flash head and
fix it onto the stand. The safety screw is then screwed into the
designated threaded hole 12. Use the handle 13 to adjust the tilt angle.
Occasionally apply a little grease to the thread to ensure smooth
operation. The umbrella holder 5 is integrated above the tilt bracket.
