6 Initial Operation
Safety Instructions
For safety reasons, only operate the equipment with protective
dome because lamps emit a UV portion, and defective metal vapor
lamps may constitute an explosion hazard.
The protective dome is placed over the metal vapour lamp BEFORE use
and is held in place via a spring clip mechanism. Because of the excess
pressure, special care needs to be used when handling metal vapor
lamps.
Heat Development
Any continuous light lamp emits heat when in use. The heat may cause
equipment parts to become very hot and poses a burn hazard upon
touching them. It is recommended that you mount light former
accessories (reflector, softbox, etc.) and position the equipment in its
final location BEFORE switching on the C-Light D continuous light lamp.
Due to the heat development, the continuous light lamp must not be
220-240 V / 50 Hz
