BATTERY REPLACEMENT FOR AEMC MODELS
1060, 5050, 5060, 5070, 6505, 4630, 6470, 6471 & 6472
The battery should only be replaced by Chauvin Arnoux
technician.
NOTE: Replacing the battery causes data to be lost from the instruments memory. It is recommended to
download the memory for Models 1060, 5060 and 5070 before changing the batteries.
Disassembling of the Front Plate Assembly and Protective Cover
To access the battery compartment and service connector:
1. Unscrew the 4 screws accessible from the bottom of the instrument.
2. Remove the instrument from the case. Be careful of the seal ring around the front plate.
3. Unscrew the 2 screws of the battery cover and remove the cover. Carefully lift the battery out and place
next to the battery compartment.
