7.2. Sample numbering

To differentiate between samples, the PF-12 assigns a sample-number to every
measurement (starting with 0001). Subsequent measurements are numbered
accordingly. You have the option to change the sample-number after every
measurement and to assign it to the current result. To do so, press
the next measurement. An entry option appears to enter the 4 digit sample
number via the key-pad.
Once you have entered the sample-number, it is displayed together with all
other result data at the bottom of the display. The following measurements are
then automatically numbered. Generally, the sample-number starts with 0001
whenever you select a method .

7.3. Identification of sample location

To differentiate between sampling locations, you have the option to enter a sam-
ple location after performing a measurement (up to 12 characters). Press button
to open the entry option for the sample location. Once you have entered the
sample location, it is displayed together with all other result data at the bottom
of the display. If you have entered additional sample locations before, you can
