INSTALLATION PROCEDURES

1. Clean antenna base and antenna mount-
ing location with VDC approved cleaner.
2. Remove the trunk compartment weather
seal, located near the rear window.
3. Locate the small "U" shaped section in the
center of the trunk compartment pinch-
weld.
4. Attach supplied double sided mounting
tape onto the antenna base. Using the
measurement shown, mount the XM an-
tenna to the rear glass, directly above the
"U" shaped section.
5. Wrap the section of the trunk compart-
ment pinchweld containing the small "U"
shaped section with the provided foam
pad.
6. Route the XM antenna cable over the
foam pad, to the underside the trunk com-
partment.
