You cannot select a folder that does not have
an MP3/WMA file recorded ::n it.

When playing discs with MP3/WMA files and
audio data (CD-DA) such as CD-EXTRA and
MIXED-MODE CDs, both types can be played
only by switching mode between MP3/WMA
and CD-DA by touching MEDIA or pressing
BAND/ESC This function can be operated
only whe:l the disc is playing.
If you have switched between playback of
MP3/WMA files and audio data (CD-DA), play-
back stalis at the first track on the disc.
• This DVD player can play back an MP3/WMA
file recorded on CD-ROM. (Referto page 103
for files that can be ple.yed bacK)
There is sometimes a delay between staiiing

and the sound being issued

Playback is carried out in order of file number.
Folders are skipped if they contain no files. (If
folder 001 (ROOT) contains no files, playback
commences with folder 002.)
This unit does not play back WMA files re-
corded as VBR (variable bit rate).
When playing back files recorded as V8R
(variable bit rate) files, the play time will not be
correctly displayed if fast forward or reverse
operat'ons are used.

When playing an MP3/WMA disc comaining
more than 192 tracks, READY appears for the
track titles of 193rd or later. The track title of
those tracks is displayed on the information

are protected by digital rights management
(DRM) ,TRK SKIPPED is displayed while the
protected fi Ie is ski pped.

all the files on the inserted disc are secured
by DRM, PROTECT is displayed.
When a disc contains both WMA files which
are protected by DRM and audio data (CD-
DA), both types cannot be switched. In this
case, only audio data will be played back.

abling playback from that point when you play
the disc again.
