Searching for a desired track
You can use the search function to specify a
track to search for a desi red track.

Touch SEARCH.

Touch 0-9 to input the desired num-
ber.
• To select 3, touch 3.
• To select '.0, toucr. 1 and 0 in that order.
• To select 23, touch 2 and 3 in that order.
• To cancel the inputted numbers, touch
C.

While the inputted number is dis-
played, touch ENTER.
This stalis playback from the selected track. [!]
Using CD TEXT functions
Some discs have certain infol-mation encoded
on the disc during manufacture. These discs
may contain such in'formation as the CD title,
track title artist's name and playback time
and are called CD TEXT discs. Only these spe-
cially encoded CD TEXT discs suoport the
functions listed below.
Displaying titles on CD TEXT discs
Touch DISP.
Touch

repeatecily to switch between the
following settings:

(disc artist name)

title)-T.Artist
(track artist
name)
If specific information has not been recorded
on a CD TEXT disc, NO XXXX will be displayed
(e.g., NO T.ARTIST NAME).
Scrolling titles in the display
This unit can display the first 19 letters only of
D.Title, D.Artist, T.Title
and
T.Artist.
When
the recorded in'formation is longer than 19 let-
ters, you can scroll the text to the left so that
the rest of the title can be seen.
Keep touching DI5P until the title be-
gins to scroll to the left.
The rest of the title will appear in the dis-
play.~
