The time needed to process the given command and return the response varies, depending on the command type. Commands that do not interact with the network, and involve only internal set up settings or readings typically have quicker response times than commands that require network interaction.

During command mode, due to hardware limitations, under severe CPU load the serial port can lose some characters if placed in autobauding at high speeds.
