Current Value (Cur. Val.). The current fan speed is displayed in this area for any configured fan speed
sensors.
Alarm. Enable the alarm option to provide an alarm if the fan speed is out of the range set by the high or low
RPM limits. If this selection is not enabled the Viper Pro will not provide an alarm if the fan speed is out of
range.
Home Display. Select up to four items displayed on the Fan Calibration screen for display on the Viper Pro
main screen during field operations. This option allows the operator to monitor selected components of the
seeding system without returning to the Fan Calibration screen.

Section Setup

The OmniSeed Viper Pro must be configured for the specific vehicle and drill being used for seeding
applications. To ensure the best possible results, the Section Setup Wizard should be completed if any part of
the seeding system (i.e. tractor or drill) is changed.
Note:
If multiple tractors or drills may be used, be sure to save each profile with detailed profile names to
help identify specific profiles at a later date.
Select Menu, Setup, and Sect. The Seeder Configuration screen displays.

Select the tractor type that best describes the vehicle used to pull the seeder during actual seeding

operation. Select one of the following tractor types:
Conventional - Standard wheeled tractor with front wheel steering.
Tracked - Tractor with a set of continuous tracks instead of wheels.
Articulated - Tractor steered by articulating at a pivoting joint.
If the seed or air cart is pulled in front of the drill, select the Seed Cart in Front of Drill option and select

either a Two Wheel or Four Wheel Cart.
Touch the Next button in the lower right corner to advance to the selected tractor type setup screen.
