13. Trouble shooting

Unstable wireless reception

14. Wireless range

The wireless range is dependent on many factors. In an ideal location and
by free line of sight 8between both antennas) a range of up to 200m is
possible, within buildings this is reduced to maybe 20m.

The range cannot be guaranteed as it is dependent on the local conditions.
A reduction of the range will be caused by:

Walls and Floors, in particular those of metal or with metal
reinforcement
!
Coated windows (eg. those with Insulating glass), radiators, mirrors
and other metal surfaces
!
Electrical cables and electrical products (eg. Those containing electrical
motors, microwave ovens)
!
Devices using the same or similar frequency eg. WLAN-systems)

15. Maintenance and cleaning

The products are maintenance-free: do not open the housings

Check the safety and function regularly
!
Remove the mains adapters from the mains sockets before cleaning
!
Use a soft, slightly moist cloth or brush to clean the surfaces

Camera not powered
The camera and receiver are not paired
The camera is out of range
Objects are preventing wireless connection
Antennas are not connected tightly or are not parallel to
eachother
Receiver and camera too far apart

Wireless connection is blocked

The camera sensor is set for daylight
Thensor is also set for infrared light (for night vision).
This setting creates a shifting of the colour spectrum
The camera has a limited resolution
Remedy
Select correct channel by pressing button [32]
Check that the Power LED [9] on the corresponding camera lights. If not,
check the mains adapter and cable connection.
Refer to chapter 12.3
Reduce the distance between camera and receiver
Remove large objects or change the location of camera and/or receiver
Connect the antennas tightly and position than parallel to eachother, eg.
both vertical

Do not clean using carbon rich cleaners, Petrol, alcohol or similar. These
can be damage the surfaces. Also the fumes cause a danger to health
and of explosion. Do not use any sharp tools (eg screwdrivers) or metal
brushes for cleaning.
