Attention! observe the following rules during in-
stallation:
• follow the mounting sequence (see fig. 3-4);
• avoid bending during mounting;
• while installing the cutting disc 13 make sure
that the diameter of the bore hole of the disc cor-
responds with diameter of the locating tab of the
internal flange 22;
• direction of the indicator at the cutting disc 13
must always coincide with a direction of the indica-
tor at the guard cover 7
• Holding the external flange 9 by means of the flange
wrench 18 screw the bolt 10 by socket wrench 19 (see
fig. 5).
Regulation
of
body
fig. 6)
[CT15228-110T-W]
• Loosen fixing screw 3 (see fig. 6).
• Put the body vertically
• Tighten fixing screws 3
• Place the sides of an alignment setsquare 90°
to the surface of cutting disc 13 and base plate 2
(see fig. 6). If the setsquare sides join the surfaces
of cutting disc 13 and base plate 2 tightly, then
alignment is not needed, otherwise you have to
adjust the position by bolts 23
• Loosen fixing screw 3
• Turning the bolts 23 in or out, make the sides of
the 90° setsquare join the surfaces of cutting disc 13
and base plate 2 tightly
Mounting / dismounting of valve (see fig. 7-8)
• Loosen the fastening screw 11 and lift the power tool
frame to the upper position (see fig. 7).
• During mounting, install valve 17 and fix it with the
help of the screw 16 (see fig. 8).
• During dismantling, unscrew screw 16 and remove
the valve 17
Initial operation of the power tools
Always use the correct supply voltage: the power
supply voltage must match the information quoted on
the power tool identification plate.
Switching the power tool on / off
Short-term switching on / off
To switch on, press and hold on / off switch 5, to switch
off - release it
Long-term switching on / off
Switching on:
Push on / off switch 5 and lock it in the position with
lock-on button 6
Switching off:

Recommendations on the power tool
operation
Cutting depth setting (see fig. 7)
Before starting the operation, adjust cutting depth de-
pending on the work piece thickness The correct cut-
ting depth enables to obtain a cut with accurate edges
• Loosen fastening screw 11 (see fig. 7).
• Set required cutting depth, lifting or lowering the
power tool body
• Tighten fastening screw 11
Cutting angle setting (see fig. 9)
(see
[CT15228-110T-W]
The power tool enables smooth cutting angle
adjustment within 0°- 45° range
• Loosen fixing screw 3 (see fig. 9).
• Set required cutting angle on scale 4, changing
power tool body inclination angle
• Tighten fixing screw 3
Cutting mark
[CT15228-110-W, CT15228-125-W, CT15213-110-W,
CT15213-125-W]
Front side edge of the base plate 2 shows cutting
disc 13 position during cutting
[CT15228-110T-W]
Cutting mark 15 shows cutting disc 13 position during
vertical cutting
Make trial cutting to avoid errors.
Cutting
The efficiency and the quality of cutting
operations depends on the kind of the
cutting disc, therefore proper selection
of cutting disc is extremely important
depending on the material being processed and
the type of works being performed.
• Make sure that the work piece is safely fixed.
• Switch on the power tool before cutting disc 13
touches the work piece Let cutting disc 13 gain maxi-
mal rotating speed
• Smoothly move the power tool forward without
bending or pushing
• Never press the tool - cutting requires certain time
Extra pressure will overload the power tool rather than
facilitate the operation
Wet cutting (see fig. 10-11)
When wet cutting, the fluid is fed to the
cutting area and provides an additional
cooling of the cutting disc 13, that prevents
the overheating and subsequent rapid wear
of disc segments and disc body distortion
