Directions for installation

Protecting radiator from damage
Only remove protective packaging com-
pletely during final cleaning or prior to
commissioning.
Fixing
Note the number and position of fastening
points (see Fig. A).
Install fastening material for single-row in-
stallation according to separate installation
instructions.
Connection
Unscrew painted blind plugs at the desig-
nated connection points.
Connect radiator with commercially avail-
able fittings upstream.
For connection of the radiator with an inflow
and return at the bottom:
Tightly cap open connections with vent
plugs (top) and blind plugs.
For connection of the radiator with an inflow
and return at the top:
Tightly cap open connections with blind
plugs.
Ensure that the radiator is vented via the
piping system.
Commissioning
CAUTION
Risk of burns due to squirting hot water
when evacuating air!
Protect your face and hands.
Fill and vent the radiator.
Check radiator and connections for leaks.
For additional electric operation:
Observe the electric set installation instruc-
tions.
When installing the radiator (fixed instal-
lation), an all-pole disconnection device
needs to be provided for electrical opera-
tion according to DIN EN 60335-1.
Ensure that a correctly mounted mounting-
box or wall socket (230 V, 16 A fuse) is avail-
able within the reach of the cable.
If a device is intended to be permanently
connected to the water-pipe system and is
not connected using a hose, then this needs
to be specified.
The electrical connection in the wall must
be freely accessible and may not be in the
projection surface of the radiator or the
control unti. The radiator must not be atta-
ched directly beneath a wall socket.
