Service Note: LE220 Transducer (and Match Network) Replacement
Purpose:
This service note provides instruction for replacement of the Transducer and Match
Network in an LE220 system.
NOTE:
The Transducer and Match Network are both serialized and must be paired together.
Upon replacement, new values must be programmed onto the RF Power Board via SonoLab.
Parts:
500322, LE220 Transducer and Match Network Repair Kit
Tools / Equipment Required
• 9/16" Open End Wrench
• 3mm Hex Wrench or Driver
• Philips Head Screwdriver (#1)
• Wire Cutters or Scissors

1. Remove Existing Transducer and Match Network

1.1.
Open Front Door to LE220. Then turn OFF LE220 Instrument and disconnect
AC Power Cord from instrument.
1.2.
Remove top cover by unscrewing 8 flathead screws on top of the instrument,
and 2 pan head screws at the upper rear. Set cover aside.

  • Page 5 Secure Transducer cable in place by re-applying tie wraps (locations shown in Section 1.3). Trim excess length as needed. 2.1.7. Replace the top cover on the LE220 using the 10 screws indicated before. 3. Re-Configure LE220 3.1. Re-connect AC line cord to the instrument. Turn ON the LE220.
