Masonry and concrete:
The thickness of the masonry or concrete must
a least be equal to three times the penetration
depth [L] of the setting nail, but at least 10 cm in
any case.

4.3 Setting the Firing Strength

WARNING
Severe injuries in case of
overpenetration of the setting nail
Should be does not fi re immediately
after pressing the trigger, keep the
Nail Setting Tool pressed against the
target material for at least another
30 seconds.
Perform a test fastening procedure
using the lowest permissible
cartridge and fi ring strengths.
If the setting nail does not penetrate
far enough into the material:
Gradually increase the fi ring
strength.
If the setting nail does not penetrate
deep enough into the material in
spite of having set the highest fi ring
strength: Insert a cartridge with
a higher strength rating and repeat
the test fastening procedure - start
with the lowest fi ring strength again.
Setting the fi ring strength on the adjustment
wheel:
Increase: turn in „+" direction
Decrease: turn in „-" direction.
