SECURITY / EMERGENCY FACILITIES/ MOB
Who is prepared for an emergency, it usually nothing happens. Reefing, sturdy footwear, predictive navigation,
weather observation, crew briefing, timely donning of lifebelts and vests should be the 1-by-1 seamanship.
SPACE has state-of-the-art Global Maritime Distress Safety System (GMDSS) safety and emergency facilities:
Liferaft in container for 8 persons
Emergency tiller stearing
Extinguishers
GMDSS DSC radio with distress function
Life jackets with lifebelts
Emergency flares
Lifebelt with throwing line
Bright buoy
First aid box
Chartplotter with MOB function
Hand searchlight
Emergency calls may only be sent if there is a real need.
In case of false triggering the skipper is fully liable!
Should not be an immediate emergency situation for life or ship please
try to stay calm and reach the base first. We help you, where possible!

LIFEVESTS AND LIFEBELTS

The lifejackets are located on starboard side in the owner's cabin in the closet behind the shower.
There are 8 vests and 8 adult lifeboats on the boat. With the Lifebelts you can pick on deck. Be sure to secure yourself
to fixed deck fittings or strained lifelines that can withstand the pull and weight.
