Cases not involving a machine defect
The brightness and/or contrast are adjusted to an
extremely low level.
Adjust BRIGHTNESS and/or CONTRAST settngs to a hgh-
er level usng the menu functon.
The WHISPER function is working.
Select NORMAL for the WHISPER tem n the SETUP
menu.
The lamp is approaching the end of its product life-
time.
Replace the lamp.
Either the focus and/or horizontal phase settings are
not properly adjusted.
Adjust the focus usng the focus rng, and/or H PHASE us-
ng the menu functon.
The lens is dirty or misty.
Clean the lens referrng to the secton "Carng for the lens".
The exhaust ventilation holes at front is blocked by
some objects.
Remove any objects from front sde of the projector.
