Possible cause and solution
You have attempted to dry only a few items of
varying size. A smaller item has been sucked into the
loading area in the door and is clogging the holes in
the laundry deflector.
 To delete the message: Touch the
control.
 Open the tumble-dryer door.
 Remove the item that is blocking the holes.
 Always dry small, individual items together with
larger items.
If you are able to exclude these issues a different
problem has occurred. See below.
The system has been clogged by lint or detergent
residue.
 Clean all lint filters and air channels.
 Check whether the lint filters in the loading area
and toe-kick are free from damage and in good
working order.
 If you have removed the toe-kick filter, also check
the filter insert behind it. Clean it if necessary.
 If you have removed the filter insert, also check the
heat exchanger behind it. Clean it if necessary.
Please see "Cleaning and care" for notes on
cleaning. Damaged, deformed, or uncleanable lint
filters must be replaced.
 To delete the message: Touch the
control.
The plinth filter looks clean after thorough cleaning.
However, the program terminates and the error
message appears again. It is likely that there is still
underlying residue that could not be removed.
 To delete the message: Touch the
control.
 Replace the plinth filter with a new one.
 You can reactivate the removed, "old" plinth filter
in the washing machine. Follow the instructions
described in "Frequently Asked Questions –
Reactivating the plinth filter".
