  • Page 9 Do not install or use a damaged tumble dryer.  Do not make any alterations to the tumble dryer, unless authorised to do so by Miele.  Do not connect the tumble dryer to the mains electricity supply by an extension lead. Extension leads are a fire hazard and do not guar- antee the required safety of the tumble dryer.
  • Page 10  If the electrical connection cable is faulty it must always be re- placed by a Miele authorised service technician to protect the user from danger.  The electrical safety of this tumble dryer can only be guaranteed when correctly earthed.
  • Page 11 This special lamp must only be used for the purpose for which it is intended. It is not suitable for room lighting. Replacement lamps may only be fitted by a Miele authorised person or by Miele Service.
  • Page 12 Warning and Safety instructions Correct use  The maximum load for this tumble dryer is 8 kg (dry weight).The maximum recommended loads for individual programmes are given in the Programme chart.  Do not lean on the door. Otherwise, the tumble dryer may tip over, causing injury to yourself or others.
  • Page 13 Warning and Safety instructions The following measures for suitable room ventilation (examples) can help to prevent negative pressure in the installation area: – Installing vents that cannot be closed in the exterior walls. – Window switch: The tumble dryer can only be switched on when a window is open.
