6.2.1 Variants of magnet The GENIUS 2.2. detects whether the door is open or shut via the magnetic sensor. The magnetic sensor is triggered by the opposite magnets on the frame side. Never allow the magnet to come into direct contact with the faceplate. This would magnetise the faceplate and the drive rods behind it.
