Troubleshooting

Problem
Fan will not start.
None or bad suction
capacity.
Dust in exhaust air.
Abnormal noise level.
Motor protection
activated.
Ball bearing temperature
sensor activated.

Solution
Connect the electrical supply.
Contact the distributor.
Contact the distributor.

Turn switch on.
1. Disconnect suction hose.
2. Turn and suck in the opposite direction.
3. If still clogged, open suction hose with a rod.
For filter bag and cartridge filter cleaning, see Section 7 Maintenance.
Replace suction hose.
Remove and replace damaged neoprene gaskets. Use suitable two-component
glue.
Close valve.
Check the filter and change if necessary.
Change filter.
Remove and replace damaged neoprene gaskets. Use suitable two-component
glue.
Dismantle the silencer hood and remove dirt.
Replace damaged silencing material.
Safe to reset motor protection. See section 6.3 Reset motor protection.
Prevent overheating by ensuring that a flow of air passes the fan.
Make sure hoses, and the fan's inlet and outlet are not blocked.
Control that the motors are running clockwise as seen from above. Start the fan
briefly, check the direction of rotation. Impeller rotation must match the arrow
on the fan housing.

Listen for abnormal noise from the fan. If there is abnormal noise, contact the
nearest authorized distributor or Nederman service for technical advice.
