Instruments and controls
It illuminates when clutch pedal
needs to be operated to restart the
engine.
See Automatic engine start/stop
feature 3 163.
Antilock brake system
(ABS)
u illuminates yellow.
Illuminates for a few seconds after the
ignition is switched on. The system is
ready for operation when the control
indicator goes out.
If the control indicator does not go out
after a few seconds, or if it illuminates
while driving, there is a fault in the
ABS. The brake system remains
operational but without ABS
regulation.

Upshift
[ illuminates when upshifting is
recommended for fuel saving
reasons.
Manual transmission 3 171.
Power steering
c illuminates yellow.
It illuminates when the ignition is
switched on and goes out shortly after
the engine starts.
If the indicator does not go out after a
few seconds, or if it illuminates while
driving, there is a fault in the power
steering.
Seek the assistance of a workshop.
Ultrasonic parking assist
r illuminates yellow.
■ Fault due to sensors that are dirty
■ Covered by ice or snow
■ Outside ultrasonic waves
interference
Once the source of interference is
removed, the system will operate
normally.
If the control indicator does not go out,
have the cause of the fault in the
system remedied by a workshop.

Engine coolant
temperature
W illuminates red.
This light tells you that the engine
coolant has overheated.
If you have been operating your
vehicle under normal driving
conditions, you should pull off the
road, stop your vehicle and let the
engine idle for a few minutes.
If the light does not go out, you should
switch the engine off and consult a
workshop as soon as possible. We
recommend that you consult your
authorised workshop.
Engine oil pressure
I illuminates red.
It illuminates when the ignition is
switched on and goes out shortly after
the engine starts.
