Keys, doors and windows
Unlocking the boot lid
(Notchback only)
Press button s.
The boot lid will unlock and open
while all doors remain locked.
Deadlock
For further protection when leaving
the vehicle, you can deadlock the
doors.
Deadlocking electronically jams all
the electric locks so that no door can
be opened, even if entry is gained by
breaking glass.
9 Warning
Do not use deadlocking if there are
people in the vehicle. The doors
cannot be unlocked from the
inside.
To engage deadlock, press button e
on the radio remote control twice in
succession within 5 seconds.
To disengage deadlock, press button
c on the radio remote control.
Note
Deadlock function operates when all
doors, the tailgate (or boot lid) and
fuel filler door are closed.
Disengaging the deadlock occurs
when unlocking the doors in the
normal way.
Delayed Locking
This feature will delay the actual
locking of the doors and arming of the
anti-theft alarm system for five
seconds when the power door lock
switch or radio remote control is used
to lock the vehicle.
This can be changed in the Vehicle
Setting.

ON: When pressing the central
locking button, three chimes will
sound to signal delayed locking is in
use.
The doors will not lock until five
seconds after the last door is closed.
You can temporarily override delayed
locking by pressing the central
locking button or the locking button on
the radio remote control.
OFF: The doors will lock immediately
when pressing the power lock switch
or the button e on the radio remote
control.
Automatic locking
In some countries, activate the
automatic door locks when driving.
Automatic transmission
When the transmission lever shifts
from P to other position doors, boot lid
or tailgate and fuel filler door are
automatically locked.
