Closing
To close the tailgate, push it down so
it latches securely.
Do not press the touchpad while
closing. It can cause opening again.
Caution
Make sure that your hands and
any other body parts, as well as
those of other persons are
completely away from the tailgate
closure area.
Anti-theft alarm system
Activation
Press button e on the radio remote
control.
The anti-theft alarm system is active
automatically after 30 seconds.
The indicator flashes quickly during
initial 30 seconds and then starts to
flash slowly.
If the indicator still flashes quickly
after initial 30 seconds, the driver's
doors is not completely closed or
there is a system fault.
Seek the assistance of a workshop.
Keys, doors and windows
Deactivation
Unlocking the vehicle by pressing
button c on the radio remote control
deactivates the anti-theft alarm
system.
Alarm
The alarm can be silenced by
pressing any button of the radio
remote control or by switching on the
ignition.
The anti-theft alarm system can be
deactivated by pressing the button e
or switching on the ignition.
Auto door locking
If any of the doors is not opened or the
position of the ignition key is not
located in ACC or ON within
3 minutes after unlocking doors using
the transmitter, all doors are locked
and the anti-theft alarm system is
activated automatically.
Automatic door unlocking
All doors will be automatically
unlocked when impact is delivered to
impact sensors while the ignition is
ON.
