Boost mode switch

The boost mode switch raises up the number of rota-
tion of the engine temporarily (for approximately 60
seconds). When using devices that require a large
starting current, such as a compressor of a submers-
ible pump or refrigerator, use this switch.
To enter the boost mode, push the boost mode switch
for 3 seconds. To exit the boost mode, push the boost

mode switch for 3 seconds again.

TIP
After approximately 60 seconds of the boost mode, the
generator will return to the normal mode automatically.

Twin Tech (parallel running terminal)

The Twin Tech terminals are used for connecting two
identical generators (EF2200iS) in parallel by using the

dedicated cable.
It cannot be connected to any other generator than the
EF2200iS.
When operating these two generators with identical
specifications in parallel, 3.6 kVA and 15.6 or 15.0 A
will be output.

TIP
For parallel operation, a separately-sold parallel cord
set is required. Before use, be sure to carefully read
the parallel cord set owner's manual, which is included
with the parallel cord set.

Accessory socket

This generator has an accessory socket with a cover. It
is suitable for the use with portable electric devices.
