  • Page 26 SPV - SPX P. 26 SHIPPING AND RECEPTION Shipping The Vibrator, shipped by Visam s.r.l., is packed inside an appropriate cardboard box and/or on a pallet and/or inside an appropriate rigid box (crate) in a stable position (Fig. 04-01). NOTE All materials are checked by Visam s.r.l.
  • Page 27 SPV - SPX P. 27 Lifting WARNING Lifting operations must be carried out in observance of the current regulations concerning safety in the workplace. In case the Vibrator weighs 25kg (60lb) or less, it can be lifted by hand by using the appropriate handles, where present (Fig.
  • Page 28 SPV - SPX P. 28 (Fig. 07-01). If the Vibrator is installed after a storage period longer than 12 (twelve) months, make sure the rotor shaft is able to rotate freely and that the prescribed axial clearance is present (from 0.5 to 2.0mm).

NOTE If the input power value, in case of particular applications (vibrating bottoms, silos, hoppers, caissons, moulds, etc,), turns out to be higher than that shown in the identification plate, the centrifugal force must be gradually reduced, as indicated in chapter 8, until said value falls back within the permitted range.
