JBL BioNitratEx
Eliminates nitrate in fresh water by organic means.
Foam cartridges which have been enriched with bacteria nutrient in a special process to promote colonisation by nitrate-
eliminating bacteria. The bacteria eliminate nitrate by natural means without producing any harmful residue.
Suitable for use in any JBL CristalProfi Internal Filter with at least two filter modules.
Do not fill long-term biological filter material e.g. JBL
MicroMec, JBL Sintomec etc. in finely meshed net bags.
Clean impeller casing, impeller and cover with cleaning
brush
Dismantle, check, replace faulty parts and re-assemble
Solution
Clean filter material and only use biological filter material
(JBL MicroMec mini) in special filter baskets (accessory).
Solution
Hold water outlet firmly and gently pull flow regulator
upwards. Clean with JBL BioClean A (specialist pet shop).
Rinse in water and reassemble.
