Problem/Symptom
5 Shower varies from
normal
temperature to
cold during use.
6 Cold indicator
light on and low
pressure indicator
light flashing.
7 Pressure relief
device has
operated (water
ejected from PRD
tube).
Note: Identify cause of operation before fitting new PRD unit.
When fitting a new PRD, follow the commissioning procedure.
It is advised all electrical maintenance/repairs to the shower
should be carried out by a suitably qualified person.
In the unlikely event of unit failure other than detailed in the fault finding page,
required (see
rating label).

4.2.3 If mains fed, make sure that the mains
stopvalve is fully open and there are no
other restrictions in the supply while
shower is in use, or see 4.2.4.
4.2.4 Fit pump to give minimum pressure (see
rating label). Contact Customer Service
for advice.
4.3.1 Readjust flow rate to give reduced flow.
Action/Cure
4.3.2 Select 'high' power.
4.4.1 Have unit checked by suitably qualified
electrician or contact Triton Customer
Service.
5.1.1 Wait until the water pressure resumes to
normal.
6.1.1 Isolate the electricity supply. Remove
remote pack cover and place purge pin
on one pin only.
6.2.1 Wait until the water pressure resumes to
normal (low pressure indicator
extinguishes).
6.2.2 Check if stop taps are fully open. Check if
blockage in supply pipe.
7.1.1 Clean or replace blocked sprayplate in
showerhead and then fit new PRD.
7.2.1
Check for free passage through hose.
Replace the hose if necessary and fit new
PRD.
7.3.1 Fit new PRD. Commission unit with
showerhead removed.
7.4.1 Fit pressure reducing valve to inlet and
then fit new PRD.
