TOYOTA HIGHLANDER 2008 - HOOD PROTECTOR Procedure (d) Apply the 1 7/8”(48mm) mylar strips at the edge of the hood in the area of the eight bracket locations. (Fig. 2-3) Note: Mylar tape shall wrap around the edge of the hood and cover 15 mm of the top and the rest on bottom of the hood surface.

TOYOTA HIGHLANDER 2008 - HOOD PROTECTOR Procedure An alignment feature has been provided on the shield to aid in centering the part on the hood. Utilize this feature to align with the center hood latch. (Fig 2-12). (f) Attach hood protector to the brackets using the 14.5mm length machine screws.
