Note: you will need a 2 Wire Wiegand cable (Ness Part No. 450-212) to connect the reader to the keypad to connect a Proximity Reader (e.g. 101-014) to enrol the Proximity Fob. .

8. Once a Fob is enrolled in a user code location, its capabilities are set by the User Code Options found in Menu 02 of the M1 Installer Level Programming. This technical note will now use ELKRP to receive the proximity Fob code and provide an example for Arm / Disarming using the Fob and access control to activate an output using this Fob at a reader.
