The following is required for calibration:
n
Lifting device for large loads, e.g. indoor crane.
n
Have a second person on hand.
n
A calibration weight weighing at least 100 kg which is attached to 2 points close to the
load cell.
n
A reference weight weighing roughly 60% of the rated load of the weighing fork arm.
The mass of the reference must be known with the greatest possible accuracy.
For calibration, raise the SmartFork
the calibration weight to the defined positions (Fig. 12).

If the SmartFork

Scale remains in calibration mode for longer than 5
minutes without a weight being attached, the system on the SmartDis-
play switches itself off.
