Lithium-ion
Batteries may contain recyclable materials and materials that could damage health and
batteries
the environment.
Do not allow batteries to come into contact with water, sewage systems, the ground or
domestic waste collection and ensure that they are recycled or disposed of by a specialist
company. Batteries must be collected separately and sent for recycling.
The lithium-ion batteries recommended in this manual are categorised as device batteries
and will therefore be taken back by device battery distributors and municipal collection
points.
Electronic
Electronic components may contain recyclable components and components that could
components
damage the environment. Have electronic components recycled or disposed of by author-
ised specialist disposal companies only.
Packaging
Packaging materials are valuable raw materials and, as such, they can be further used or
materials
meaningfully processed in many cases. Incorrect disposal of packaging materials can
give rise to dangers to the environment.

Reuse packaging materials if possible.

If packaging materials cannot be reused, have such materials remanufactured or dis-
posed of in an environmentally sound manner.

Observe the locally applicable disposal regulations. If necessary, arrange for a spe-
cialist company to take care of the disposal.

Recycling

Insofar as there is no take-back agreement or disposal agreement in place, separate
waste according to material and send it for recycling:

Scrap metals.
n
Send plastic elements to be recycled.
n
Sort and dispose of the other components according to their material characteristics.
