Weight determination with the SmartFork® Scale > Prerequisite for correct weight determination
NOTICE!
Tilt angle of the lift mast
The lift mast must not exceed the vertical by a tilt angle of a = +/- 3°. If
this tilt angle is exceeded, a warning appears on the SmartDisplay and
measurement is no longer possible.
– Align the lift mast at an angle of 90° to the ground prior to measure-
ment.
NOTICE!
Permissible ground incline/gradient!
The industrial truck must be on level ground in order to conduct a reliable
measurement with the SmartFork
Inclines or gradients > 5° lead to incorrect weight indications.
– Always move the industrial truck onto level ground before starting the
measurement.
NOTICE!
No functionality if there is ground contact!

Scale is not operational until it is raised off of the ground
slightly.
– Prior to measurements, ensure that the SmartFork
have any contact with the ground.
