USING YOUR PHONE

Making and Receiving Calls
The following features of the XSA660 and XSA650 phone are different depending
on the Handset's Location when you make or receive a call.
When the phone rings, remove the
Answer call
handset from the base. (Autotalk)
Make call
1. Remove the handset from the
base and press talk.
2. The talk LED lights.
3. Listen for the dial tone.
4. Dial the number.
Hang up
Return handset to the base.
(AutoStandby) or press talk.
Redial
1. Remove the handset from the
base and press talk.
2. Listen for the dial tone.
3. Press redial to dial the last
number.
Note: Sometimes when you press talk to hang up the phone, you may get an error tone
and the phone will not disconnect. If this happens, place the Handset on the Base
Unit or press talk again while holding the Handset close to the Base Unit.
Handset on Base
Handset off Base
Press speaker button on the
base unit or talk on the handset.
Note: You must use the
Handset to make a call.
